Dr. King graduated from Bucknell University, received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in pediatrics in Philadelphia at St. Christophers Hospital for Children. Board certified in Pediatrics, and a long- standing Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he has practiced pediatrics for 45 years in the same location. He is actively involved with childbirth education for expectant parents/families; and, clinical teaching, mentoring, and precepting of medical students, residents, NP students, and NPs.
Dr. King has clinical appointments with three medical schools and is on the medical staff of several regional and local hospitals.
He is married, father of two grown married children, and grandfather of six.
